More about EUGENE FITZHERBERT

Our loaf of a cat Eugene is having a lovely time with his wonderful and devoted foster carer. We couldn't think of anyone more best placed to help us describe Eugene.

Eugene is very placid and extremely cuddly once he has decided to trust and engage with someone. He seems to find one human to be enough company and is not keen to engage with strangers - he definitely won't come out to greet a potential adopter. But once he has become attached to someone, he is a really calm and gentle cat, never happier than when he is sleeping pressed against your side or purring with his chin resting on your leg. He is not a jumper or a fast mover so your ornaments and surfaces will be safe! And he is the best hot water bottle at night. A soft and solid gentleman of a cat who really deserves a cosy forever home.

Eugene is happily waiting for his forever home and as you can see has settled wonderfully. If you think this boy sounds like your cup of tea please do get in touch.

He is suitable to live with children around the age of 13 years old and above. We are also looking for a home who can provide a dedicated cat settling room whilst he is settling in as he is a timid boy and looks for places to hide. He will also need a permanent litter tray in the home.

Prospective owners will need to speak to a Battersea vet prior to rehoming due to an entropion surgery and a period of gastrointestinal upset.

If you are interested in giving charming Eugene his forever home, please contact Battersea London - cat.rehoming@battersea.org.uk or 020 7627 9279.

He is currently living at a foster home, so prospective owners would be able to meet him there rather than at our Battersea centre.

Please ensure you have registered online and completed the application form to rehome a cat prior to getting in touch.
