More about GRAYSON

Grayson, at our Old Windsor centre, is a gentle natured Lurcher who enjoys being around people and loves nothing more than fuss and affection. .

If after reading his information you would like to know more about him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Grayson has spent some time in a temporary foster home. He has been housetrained and enjoys sunbathing in the garden. His foster carer said he is very affectionate and knows where the treat cupboard is! Grayson is a sensitive dog and is easily spooked by some everyday noises both inside and outside of the home. He will need to live in a quieter area where there are not too many sounds to startle him and will need understanding owners as he settles in at home. He’ll really enjoy his own secure and private garden where he can stretch his legs and spend time relaxing.

He takes a lot of reassurance from people and will gently nudge at his foster carer’s hand on a walk or at home. He is quietly affectionate and stands close to you when he’d like a fuss.

Although he can be worried in busy places, Grayson adores walks where he can gently sniff around, and when he is comfortable he often rolls around on his back in the grass, having a good scratch. He walks really nicely on lead.

Grayson is looking for a home with people that have owned dogs before and have researched into the Sighthound breed if not familiar with it. He has shown some worried behaviours around other dogs and is therefore looking to be the only dog in his new home.

Grayson is a charming Lurcher and he will make a loving companion in his new home. If you are interested in rehoming him please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494 443.
